Traded in my challenger for a used 2020 Ridgeline about 5 weeks ago. So far I've been love everything it but I was wondering what is the normal mpg I should be expecting from it. It will not go above 15.2 mpg and only usually stays within 13.8-15.2 mpg. I try to be gentle on the gas as much as possible and not drive with a heavy foot to see if it'll make a difference but it doesn't. Eco mode doesn't seem to make a difference either. I haven't hauled or towed anything since I got it. I'm sure if 15 mpg is normal or if it should be higher normally, or is the computer messed up, do I need to take it to dealer? I filled it up 5 days ago. My old challenger had better mpg

Depends on the temperature at your end, are you warming your car up in the morning? It can be that something is off, you might need to go to the dealer and see what they say about it

oh... i think that 15 mpg is quite low 🥶 isn't the average about 18-19 mpg just in the city driving mode??? not to go at above 15 mpg is quite alarming? but any way it still depends. are you mostly in stop/go traffic? if not better check your tire pressure and reset the trip computer. best get it to the dealer...

thats not what you should be getting. my ridgeline does about 18-20 dependin on how i drive and if i do city or highway so something's not right. apart from the tires you might wanna check the air filter

Since it's only been 5 weeks, I'd say keep an eye on it for another fill-up or two to see if it improves. But if it stays that low, try to ask the dealer if they can check the computer for any issues. It's possible something isn't quite right.

If none of the suggestions above seem to work for you, for your peace of mind, try bringing it to the dealer. hope you get this resolved soon!

It's still normal :) Don't worry. Eco mode isn't gonna drastically affect the MPG anyway. If it stays that low, then you might have to bring it to the dealer for a recalibration.
