i'm not really a fan of the honda ridgeline push buttons because i feel less of a man... 👨 just my opinion please do not get offended there is just something about the gear shifter for me lol. do you think there's a high chance the 2026 ridgeline makes a gear shifter comeback? thoughts?

I feel you Jude and I can really relate lol but then it's hard to say if Honda will bring back their traditional gear shifter. Auto companies have been moving towards electronic shifters to save space and modernize interiors, to them they may be improving aesthetics but to some people like us who still like it the old fashioned way and Honda, in particular, seems to be committed to push-button shifters in many of their models, like the Ridgeline and Pilot. Who knows, maybe Honda will surprise us with a redesign . Fingers crossed

happy to see i'm not the only one who sees it like this... 🤣 i guess we are just a little old-fashioned. i do understand they're trying to be modern and yes there are plenty other people who prefer the new ones like the push buttons. just not us i guess. it's a matter of preference at the end of the day. will you be getting the latest if ever there's a comeback?

my thoughts exactly lol, the sensation of the gear stick handles brings back a lot of memories to me. And yes, i feel more manly with the geart shifter too. haha

Unlikely the 2026 Ridgeline will ditch push buttons. Honda seems committed to this design for now. Maybe look into aftermarket mods or older models to scratch that itch without costing you a fortune lol

I agree with this! but like everyone else here, I'm more on the traditional side too. the younger ones like the push buttons i guess

Hahaha, I'm not sure it's gonna ditch the push buttons. We're only going modern from here forward, man. The Ridgeline still looks badass anyway.

I totally agree, there's just something special about a good gear shifter. Unfortunately,I don't think Honda will bring it back for the 2026 Ridgeline since they seem committed to the push-button system for all their models. But hey,if they do surprise us,I'd definitley be interested
