Checking used Honda Ridgeline

I'm on a lookout for used Honda Ridgeline from 2018 and newer. I was told to check Carfax but it's a bit overwhelming for me. Which info should I pay attention to the most? and is this site open for some price negotiation? If other members know where else I can check secondhand trucks, though I really prefer Ridgeline, please also let me know! It's my first time buying a truck so I could really use some advice!

You're right man, Carfax can feel like a whole homework assignment.
here's my little advice: for a first timer, focus on accidents, service history, and definitely AVOID anything with a salvage/flood title.
Also, nope, Carfax is just a report, not where you negotiate prices. You do that with the dealer or private seller

Great points! Zeroing in on big problems or skipped check-ups really cuts down the time looking. And yeah, Carfax just gets you started but doesn't seal the deal.

To be fair, Carfax offer detailed reports, so yeah they can seem complicated, but it's for your own good so that you know what you're buying. @UnlimitedHeart gave you a good outline of what to look for and here's a piece of advice from me. When inspecting the vehicle and negotiating about the price, take someone with you who knows what to look for. Some damages may not show up on a Carfax or any kind of report, so it's a good idea to bring in the expert.

Late reply but all great advice here if you have not resolved it yet. Focus on accident history, service records, and definitely avoid any salvage/flood titles. Bringing someone who knows trucks when checking it out in person will save you headaches.
