So, there's been some chatter around the 2025 Honda Ridgeline getting the Acura MDX 3.0 twin turbo engine slapped onto a 10-speed transmission. Sounds fancy, right? But hold up! Are we talking game-changer here or just Honda playing dress-up with its engines? Throw in options like a 2.0 turbo 4 and 3.5 V6, and suddenly it's an episode of "Ridgeline Engine Roulette."

Let's get real, folks: Are these engines actually elevating this truck into its "next-level" fantasy, or is this just Honda Irvine Cal's marketing spin to get us to cough up extra cash? Are we paying for performance or puffery?

Share the secrets, skeptics! And let's not forget to fact-check those "engine package domination" claims... Sounds a bit too much like a Marvel movie tagline, doesn't it?

Honda throwing the MDX twin-turbo in the Ridgeline? could be a power move… or just marketing fluff, personally I like the buildup. The 2.0T option is weird for a truck, and if the 3.5 V6 is the same old J-series, it's nothing new. Feels more like Honda giving options for the sake of it rather than making the ridgeline a real powerhouse. Guess we'll see if it's hype or legit.

convincing but I'll believe it when I see it. twin-turbo 3.0 sounds like a dream, but honda isn't big on dropping high performance engines in trucks. If they just slap in the 3.5 V6 and a 2.0T for MPG, it's more hype than game changer. Let's see if they actually deliver or just dress it up.

Interesting thought. There's no official word on a 2.0L turbo 4-cylinder either. So, despite the buzz, its business as usual under the hood. If you're craving more power and/or variety, you might need to keep dreaming lol or look elsewhere.

wow, idk man. the new engines could make it quicker and more refined, but don't expect it to suddenly compete head to head with full size trucks. let's chill and just wait for real world reviews and specs before declaring it a gamechanger.
