In the past ive been able to drive all kinds of cars, perks of the job, including the second gen ridgeline and ive been thinking about something. how do engineers come up with new features and decide which ones to put? sure they're smart but do they sit at ta table all day and think what they can do? maybe they go through our forums for inspiration? anyone anything?

agree with @ridgeline.head. highly possible they check forums too because honestly we do rant a lot lol everything is just here to read easily for them plus it's divided into sub-forums. all the more useful for them and convenient too lol i know @spookycapy34 is most likely kidding but come to think of it he's got a point

Maybe we should be louder about the features on forums, cuz there are tons of things we need that honda doesn't implement. Maybe there are some secret forums we don't know of? :)

that's not exactly how it works haha. it's a mix of listening to what drivers want (yep, even checking out forums!), smart brainstorming, new tech, safety rules, and making sure it's actually doable and won't break the bank that gets those new features into cars like the Ridgeline.
